What comes to people’s mind when I say (maybe not I say it, you heard) the word fetishism. Sexual image, torture, women covered in that shiny rubber wear, leather boots. Different, strange, otherworld are some other words people describe it maybe.
There is another old English explanation states that A fetish is an object believed to have supernatural powers, or in particular, a man-made object that has power over others. Essentially, fetishism is the attribution of inherent value or powers to an object.
Psychological speaking it is mentally thing, like religion. If you believe or not, they are out there.
